need to apply.
How Many Grace Marks Can I Get?
-The number of grace marks you can receive depends on your admission year and program:
- Admission Year: 2016-17 onwards
- Programs: B.Tech, B. Pharm, BFAD, BFA, BHMCT, MCA, MBA (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: 7)
- Programs: M.Tech, M. Pharm, M. Arch (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: 5)
- Admission Year: 2018-19 onwards
- Programs: B.Tech, MBA (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: 10)
- Program: B. VOC (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: 3)
- Program: M.Tech (Integrated) (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: 7)
- Programs: B. Pharm, M. Pharm (PCI Ordinance) (Maximum Grace Marks per Year: B. Pharm - 7, M. Pharm - 5)
Where can I see Grace Marks Awarded?
If you received grace marks, your result will show "PWC" (Passed With Grace) instead of the marks in that subject.
What if I Don't Get Grace Marks But Feel I Deserve Them?
- Retake the Exam in Carry Over Procedure (COP): You can reappear for the failed subject in the next semester's COP exam. This won't show "PWC" on your marksheet.
- Apply to University: In rare cases, if you believe you were unfairly denied grace marks, you can contact Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) directly for reevaluation.
Important Note:
- Grace marks are a one-time benefit. You cannot receive them for the same subject in subsequent semesters.
